Jump Into Science: Themed Science Fairs
Tired of science fairs that include 9 experiments growing petunias to music and 14 exploding volcanos? Create themed science fairs where each student conducts and presents a unique experiment related to the type of science you're studying.

State curriculum standards require that students know and understand the scientific method–-hypothesizing, experimenting, recording, and reporting what is learned. One of the best ways to accomplish this is through the venue of science fairs. In addition curriculum standards also ensure that students have a basic understanding of individual areas of science, specified by grade level. By specifying science fairs by area of science, teachers can present curriculum-specific science, making them further accountable to state standards.

Jump into Science has four thematic units, allowing teachers to use each unit during the class study of that area of science. All experiments are for a general range of grades 4 through 6. The four units are: Earth Science, Ecology, Life Science, and Physical Science. Experiments are written in age-appropriate language (grades 4-6) so students can follow and perform the experiments on their own. Simple icons cross-reference experiments that may be used in other units, to allow additional flexibility for larger-sized classrooms.

School curriculum standards change little over the years and the way kids learn never change. Kids learn best by doing. Teachers look for interesting ways to teach science that are fun for kids and that assure they are teaching to the curriculum standards to which they are accountable. Jump into Science provides a new approach to meeting these needs.

Jump Back in Time, A Living History Resource
Students (grades 4-6) rotate through stations of math and vocabulary games, crafts, and food. Explore legends, songs, maps, and historical events to understand specific times and places in history. This complete and creative resource covers 4 major areas of the elementary curriculum: ancient cultures, Native American culture, Colonial America and westward expansion.

Around the World Through Holidays, Cross-Curricular Readers Theatre
This resource focuses first on literacy (grades 4-8) by introducing children to twelve holidays celebrated around the world via the reader's theatre format. In addition, cross-curricular activities in science, math, geography, language arts, history, culture, art, and music complement and enhance the cultural learning experience.
